Playmates
Kate has quickly realized that Jackson can now get into her toys. She built a fort the other day and decided she didn’t want babies invited into her area. (notice the sign she made.)Well…the sign didn’t last long. Kate and Jackson have too much fun playing together and I think Kate was missing her baby brother, so he finally got an invitation to join her ;)Jackson was happy about it!
Look Out – Here I Come!
Jackson loves getting around these days and doesn’t want to sit still. His crawl is quite funny. He uses one knee and then uses his foot on the other leg. His poor right knee is always red from taking the brunt of it all!
Jackson’s On The Move
Jackson is officially on the go! He’s been getting ready for awhile now and has crawled a teeny-tiny bit once or twice. But today he crawled all the way across the room!! And I actually got it on video with our camcorder. I took this video a few minutes later on my camera. He didn’t go quite as far, but you get the idea. All I have to say is – poor Kate! She doesn’t know what she’s in for now!
A Little of This and a Little of That
Jackson loves playing with Wesley! And Wesley loves to give him kisses when I’m not looking!Any day now Jackson will be on the move! He’s oh, so close!Rock and RollLove those legs! Our sweet angelI love these kids! They are incredible! Kate told me today, “Jackson is always my best friend!” Melt my heart!
Christmas 2011
We had a wonderful Christmas! Kate’s at such a fun age and was really into all of it, and Jackson just loved the packages! We drove 8 hours to Michigan to be with the Reese’s, and the kids did great in the car! We enjoyed lots of good quality family time, some relaxation, and a little ice skating.
Kate in Rare Form
Kate has her silly moments, for sure, but not usually in front of a crowd. She typically is shy and reserved. So imagine my shock, a little embarassment, and a tad bit of amusement when Kate did this at her school performance. I even had a mom ask me what I gave her for breakfast!
