Christmas Program
Kate performed in the Christmas program at Church today. She did awesome! Eric and I were extremely proud of her! When it comes to performances, you never know if Kate is going to be goofy and just do her own thing, or if she’s going to take it seriously and do what she’s supposed. Today, she chose the later! And she had a blast too!
Ho, Ho, Ho!
Well, it took two attempts, but we finally got to see Santa! In the next town over, Santa came with his reindeer and we tried to get pictures, but the line was a little too long, and Kate didn’t want to have anything to do with Santa that day. So, we just enjoyed the atmosphere and seeing the reindeer and watching Santa from a distance. So, what other better place to visit Santa then…the grocery store!?! Well…he was there and we hadn’t sat on his lap yet, so hey, why not! Well, the kids still didn’t want to sit on his lap. Do you think I’ll have to be in every picture with Santa and the Easter Bunny until they’re 18?
Growing Up
I feel like we woke up today and Jackson had changed. Not in a bad way, but physically he looks different. I knew it was bound to happen. I knew he wouldn’t stay a baby forever, but a girl can hope, can’t she? Our baby is growing up. He just looks like a little man today. Maybe its his hair. I don’t quite know. But I did know that I needed to document it. So here you go…
Trick or Treat
Today was trick or treating in Oconomowoc, but first we went to a small petting zoo. I knew Jackson would love it, and he did! He gets so excited to see any kind of animal and this was no different. Well, yes it was because he actually got to touch these! He had a little staring contest with the sheep! Kate loved the chicks and rabbit. After the petting zoo, it was time for trick or treating. Charlie Brown and the Princess Fairy took to the town with Cinderella and Spiderman! What a group! Kate and her friend Sydney had a blast! This was one of the two houses Jackson went to. The rest of the time he sat in the stroller eating candy or pretzels 🙂
