Kate – “Jackson, you’re stinking cute.”Mom – “Yes he is. Just like you.”Kate – “I’m not stinky. But I am cute.”
Last Saturday team JR Hearts ran and walked in support of a great cause…Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. This is a cause very near and dear to our hearts and we can’t thank our family and friends enough for all of their support…many people made donations and/or walked/ran on our team. We had a great time while helping a lot of children! It was a chilly morning which is why Jackson is bundled so! (These pictures are posted backwards…oops! I’m new at this!)Kate and Daddy were exhausted after the event. This is Claire, Jackson’s nurse while he was in the hospital. She ran on our team! When she was holding him, he wrapped both of his arms around her and hugged her. He’s never done that before to anyone. It was obvious...
Kate started Pre K 4 this year and is doing great! She’s enjoying her class and making new friends. I’m having a harder time adjusting to her growing up 🙂 Kate had a presentation at school last week. The kids showed us what they’ve been working on since the beginning of the school year. Thought you might enjoy seeing some of it.
Jackson is an amazing baby. He’s so happy and easy-going. He loves his big sister and is starting to sit up and loves standing in his exersaucer and playing.
Mimz and Poppa Visit
Mimz and Poppa came to visit recently and we had a ball. We went to the Ringling Brothers Circus in Baraboo, WI, and what an experience. We saw the Big Top performance, magic show, Kate rode a pony and Mimz and Kate rode an elephant! This was the first time Poppa got to see Jackson at home. Last time he visited Jackson was still in the hospital. And Jackson loved it! Poppa was the only one able to settle Jackson when he was upset…there’s definitely an attachment there!
