Fun with the Cousins
It was absolutely wonderful to be in Louisiana for three weeks this summer. I feel so blessed that we got to spend that much time soaking up the Zeringues. Kate and Jackson LOVE their cousins and miss them dearly, but they sure had fun while we were there! Baby Zachary Princess Caroline and Princess Kate We had a few sleepovers while we were there…Kate thought that was awesome!
Alligator Farm
Kate, Jackson and I toured an alligator farm with the family while in Louisiana. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but much to my surprise, it was quite fun! Jackson could care less about the alligators. He loved the baby goat! And Kate enjoyed the small turtles 🙂 Touching/petting an alligator with her cousins. BIG 17′ alligators! Can you see the gator right behind us? Apparently, they’ve gotten past this fence before…yikes! Jackson enjoyed talking to the goats! I’m not scared! Kate and the baby turtles. Summer Time in Louisiana
The kids and I have taken a little break from Wisconsin to enjoy some good, quality family time with the Zeringues. Kate wasn’t so sure about this crawfish boil thing 😉 She loves bugs, but I think this frightened her a bit. She enjoyed peeling shrimp, but didn’t care for the taste. Poor girl, doesn’t know what she’s missing. Mimz, Poppa, cousin Nicholas, Caroline, Kate, Jackson and Luke. Jackson loves his Oreos! These days he’ll let you know he’s done eating or doesn’t like what you’re giving him by shaking his head “no”. I love this photo!! Seriously, these two are so good together. Everyday Life
Jackson is standing up on his own and taking a few steps all by himself. I love it when he does something and has this surprised look on his face! Daddy brought home some fun hats and ties from one of his trips so we all had fun playing with them!
Kate Graduates
Wow! Hard to believe Kate graduated from PreK 4 today! What a celebration. Eric and I are so extremely proud of her! She’s grown up so much in this past year. It was a bittersweet day for me. While I’m so excited for her, I don’t want her to grow up so fast! But she’s had a great year, learned so much and made many new friends!
Jackson’s First Birthday
Jackson turned one yesterday and we celebrated with a Hungry Caterpillar party. We had a blast and Jackson loved his cake!
